Rage
It’s a dark time, many children just died
It’s a dark time, he took a woman’s life.
It’s a really dark time, a father was shot.
It’s a really dark time, the fire burning is hot.
They torched the houses,
The criminals are out loose.
From every part of the world,
All I hear is bad news.
I feel the sadness, I feel the rage.
I don’t even know my enemies
& it feels like a cage.
I question why. I see the evil eye.
God is the best of planners.
So I put the questions aside.
He has a plan, it is his will.
Through this dark time,
Let’s all pray together
So the world shall heal

I wrote this poem to get all this rage, this sadness inside of me from all the global unrest I have been heading into something that wasn’t hateful but rather reflective and gave me some ease into the plans of God.
This poem serves as a memory of the 19+ Nepalese youths, who were killed in the protests, Iryna Zarutska, a beautiful soul who was killed senselessly, Charlie Kirk who was shot, he stood firm in his faith and spoke for his beliefs peacefully and finally to anyone else who left us soon, left this world unjustly. My heart goes out to you.-Sid Sharma (Zamkai Master)
